Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PromptDock collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and desktop application.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and authentication identifiers (Firebase Authentication).
- Subscription information: subscription status and billing-related identifiers (synced from Stripe and stored in Firestore). We do not store full card numbers.
- Support submissions: subject/message and any email you provide when contacting support.
- Technical data: basic request metadata such as IP (or proxy headers) and user-agent for abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Mobile app (coming soon)
We are developing a PromptDock mobile app for iOS and Android. When available, it may collect additional information required to run on mobile devices.
- On-device content: scripts you create/import are stored locally on your device unless you choose cloud features.
- Device/app diagnostics: basic device and app information (e.g., OS version, app version, crash logs) to improve stability.
- Optional analytics: if enabled, aggregated usage analytics to help improve features.
- Advertising identifiers (if applicable): if the mobile app includes ads, ad partners may use device advertising identifiers for ad delivery and measurement. We will disclose this in the mobile app’s store listing and in-app settings where required.
How we use information
- Provide login and account access
- Verify active subscription status to unlock desktop app functionality
- Deliver downloads and provide customer support
- Prevent fraud/abuse and maintain security
Sharing
We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate the service:
- Firebase (Google) for authentication and backend services
- Stripe for subscription billing, taxes, and customer portal
If and when the mobile app is released, it may also integrate additional providers (for example, crash reporting or analytics). Any such providers will be documented in updates to this policy.
Data retention
We retain account and subscription records as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Support submissions may be retained for troubleshooting and customer service.
Your choices
- You can update your email/password in the Account page after re-authentication.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription via the Stripe billing portal.
- You can request account deletion via Account (where available).
